im looking in the mirror and i think im liking what i see,

this post gonna be pretty wordy. just bear with me okie.

a year back, i met my uncle's ex wife. she's doing pretty good now. got based in america and living life to the fullest. =)

while talking to her about a little something, she said this. "men, even if they're in their golden years, they are still immatured for their age. trust me! ego stands in their way!"

pretty much true ey. but i guess, they (men, boys) still have not realized about the sickening truth. haha. *eyes-rolling*

honestly, i have an ego. a BIG one.
but at the very least, i know when to put that egoism aside, so that i can learn from my mistakes, opinions & point of views from other people and so on. coz i know, i can never make a step forward if i wont accept those critisms in life.

and im a very childish person. i still cant accept that im going to be 22 this year. Haha. but i thank Allah for the health and evrything i have all this years. =)
and so, i still act as if im 2 years old. but that doesnt mean i handle my problems like a 2 year old kid. i dunch run away from my problems. only at certain situations, it made me to leave it as it is.

and i may be a very hard-headed girl. i have my own principles in life. i was brought up that way. and one more thing about me is that, i am VERY close to my sister. even if we have our bad days, she is still my sister. you try to mess with her, me going to kick u up in the ass. same goes to u tawfiq. haha.

and yes.
im pretty much thankful to the One above.
ive never regret for the things that i told you. it's the truth anyways. pretty sad that you cant accept the awful truth. pity. *shakes head*

only one thing kept me thinking. HOW, in the first place, i can ever like you.

for everything that happens in life, im sure there's a reason behind it.
why have i not achieve those little things in life, i know, it's not the end. maybe im not destined to have those little things. it's not meant to be. Insya-Allah, good things are yet to come. =)

and no, i dunch want to be sad. but maybe, be angry a little for the way i have been treated. heh.
but syukur, alhamdulillah that things happen now rather than later. think positive, i will. that phrase from Syurga Cinta, gonna be in mind every single moment right now. somehow or rather thinking about it, perks me up and got me going on again. and last but not the very least, i have to be more S.A.B.A.R. Insya-Allah.

so, last friday was Hari Raya Light-Up at Taman Warisan.
came down with the Dian girls to support the Dian boys who collaborated with Sriwana this time round. =)

after that, was dinner at Zam-Zam. sheesha, true/dare sesssions, and lepak till 330am at national library. haha! budak-budak pandai jer buat macam gituks. hahah!
had so much fun. so happy, dunch know why. laughing too much, i guess. heeheehee.

i remember when we stole the night
we’d lie awake dreaming til the sun would wash the sky

so, as promised. an update on the seoul garden session with ain and marina.
3 girls, food, camera, toilet, mirrors. haha. what else can i say.

but somehow or rather, i find seoul garden food decreasing bit by bit. ain't much variety. and they didnt even top up the empty ice-cream tubs. how to have dessert like that? chet.

and having two evil girls who kept on telling me stories about long hair, did not help me to be brave one bit. =(
called the mother to wait and not to go to bed, until i reach home safely. heehee.

and ow. it's been a while since i have a proper update. i've been busy. or maybe, just acting busy. haha. got alot of things to update. the kukup trip with izzah's dept, abg izwan's birthday celebration, the late night supper at simpang with dian and so much more. but i'll just skip all that and let's go to Akar Mekar Production by Gendrum.

to start it off, it was a daymn good production. =)
came down to support dian love since they're one of the guest artiste for the night. and not to forget ADDY CRADLE!! woohoo! but too bad, gotta know he's married. bahh. ama, kau jer lah amek die. aku taknak orang dah kahwin ah. hahaha.

then, there was Art Fazil, Raven, dikir barat performance by Anak Seni & Keris and dance performances from Commonwealth & Hillgrove Secondary. and what i like most was the drum battle between the 2 guys from Gendrum. not sure what's their name, but yeah, they were definitely good. =)

and while im talking about this akar mekar thingy, i found something on the net about it, that really amused me to the bits and pieces. haha. thanks cipah for the info. =)

was listening to this ceramah at Warna 94.2fm a while ago. (yes, i do listen to ceramah-s.)

Uztaz Hasanudin Yunus was the one who gave the ceramah which is called "Cakap Salah, Tak Cakap Salah.
it's like he said, in a family, everyone should be supportive of each other. it can be shown by actions, expressions and even through your words.

kita ambil contoh seorang anak tu nampak kucing mati dan beritahu ibunya.
anak: "ibu, tadi sayer nampak kucing mati kat tepi jalan, ibu."
biler anak cakap macam tu, ibu jangan lah ckp begini.
ibu: "alah! kucing mati pun nak cakap dengan aku!"
tetapi, sepatutnya seorang ibu ataupun bapa itu harus beri kan semangat kepada seorang anak. biler dier exited macam gitu, kena excited macam dier juga. jadi seorang anak itu tidak akan berputus asa. dier harus bercakap begini.
ibu: "iyer nak? kucing itu mati? kat maner?"

lagi satu contoh, kalau seorang suami tu ader masalah apabila dier baru pulang dari kejer. kalau si isteri ader benda yang baik untuk beritahu suami, jangan lah terus diberitahu kepada sang suami. tanyakan apa masalah si suami dahulu, dan tunggukan masa yang baik untuk beritahu suami tentang berita yang gembira itu.

never in my life, have i ever did a research on premature births. and since i am born as a prematured baby myself, i did my part. heh.
and since i had nothing much to do right now, here goes.

i belong to the 28-31 weeks anyways. 7 months. tak sabar nak tengok dunia. hoho.
and so, i have only 90-95% chance of survival. and i survived! haha. alhamdulillah.
mama says, she's not allowed to bring me home straight away. i was left all alone at the hospital for 2 freaking months. the parents barely pay me visits coz they have to take care of the older sister, izzah hahahafiyah, at home. aku raser klau sekarang aku masuk hospital, jorang tak tengok aku, aku pekik ampai satu singapore boleh dengar. hahaha.

im asthmatic during my childhood days. i am lucky that it's gone now. but the doctor says that, if i dunch take good care of my health, it'll come back. Tuhan selisih kan.

and ahhhhh. vision. my vision is very very very poor.
i had my own specs when i was in primary 4. right up till now, im still a loyal fan to spectacles. only that i will use it during working hours and while i surf the net and watch teevee at home. and i dunch wear contact lens. it's very geli-ish to me. huhu.

other than all that. i have problems with my bones. haha.
the doctor says, i have weak bones. so for me, drinking milk wont help either. haha.
my bones will ache when the weather or the environment that im in is very cold. so, not having an air con at home is perfectly fine. =)

over and all, taking care of me since birth was quite a hassle for the parents i think. haha.
to avoid this, to avoid that. what more the hospital bills, cause i have to keep on having regular check-ups till i was about 10. and right up till now, it's never easy to take care of iffah izzati. especially when she gets sick! haha.

so am pretty lucky that mama never gives up on taking care of me. i love her very very much! =)

watched it with izzah and tawfiq. being a tiang lampu for a day. actually, aku dah biaser jadi tiang lampu. so, tak pasal. dah biaser jadi penyebok. hahaha.

for me, i am very disappointed with the movie. if i were to not read the book, i wouldnt even understand the story. wouldnt even know who the half blood prince was. sheesh. the only good thing about the movie was that, it made me cried. haha. and no no, i wont tell you why i cried. hehe. this is the only good part of the movie worth watching. and some funny parts about Ron Weasley (the boyf.haha.) too. other than that, uh-uh. dunch waste your money. love was so much in the air, that it occupied most of the story lines in the movie. i really think that it is unneccessary. should make a re-make!!

think we, the harry potter fans, should do a petition and send it to David Yates, the director of the movie. kepala dier dah lah nak dekat botak. kang aku botak kan licin baru tahu. haha.

it always starts the same
with a boy and a girl and a huh and a game

putri buluh betong is back for updates. heh.
maybe just for a little while. and then, she'll go missing again. but will come up with a few little posts just to show her crazy emotions. hehe.

and so, after not performing for a very long time since NADI production, putri buluh betong gears up for Heritage Festival. the show was fun indeed. with having to recall back the basic dance steps for asli and joget at the very last minute. huahuahua. al-maklom, lamer tak menari. sumer nyer tinggal kan dalam kenangan. huahuahuahuahua.

took half day off from work just to get ready, early.
had abg izwan to do the make-up and deen for the hair-do. tankayou! =)
and ow! we've got cute cinoneh guys to ogle at when getting ready. i 'chope' the one with spectacles! heeheehee. gatal, i know.

and a while later after the dance, all of us went off to Lau Pa Sat to have our late late dinner. mee kuah, nasi goreng ikan bilis, nasi briyani, mee bandung, satay, bbq chicken. haha. so much food there. and the sellers at LPS are very irritating, i tell you. very persistent. baik-baik orang want to makan at his foodstall, terus tak jadi. amek kau! haha.

oooooohhh.
why does one invent the word "hope"?
at the very least, if it doesn't even exist, i wont learn how to hope. sheesh.

i guess i should tell papa how hot the Autobots & Decepticons are, (yeah, not Megan Fox) and try to ask for a movie date with him, mama and izzah. or maybe, bring along tawfiq too. =)

never mind that i've already watched it with @. it's okie for me to watch a darn good movie for the second time. huhu.
but it's a bit pain in the butt, coz the movie's total playtime is ard 2 hours. panas jer bontot. HAHA.

but really, im loving the robots in the movie. cool shit sia. haha.
if only i have anything that can change to an Autobot! when you need someone to rescue you, can just call em' by the name. like what Sam Witwicky did. all that he needed to do was to call out, "BumbleBee! Optimus!". =)

but you can definitely get it first, without having to wait for that particular person to own it, tried it, look good in it, and then, that is when you will buy it.

the live Arab band was pretty amazing. they played Candy Shop by 50cent, mind you!! arab version sumore! naseb baik tu jemputan. HAHAHA! (macam paham!)

and so, Monsters vs Aliens with @ yesterday was nice.
it was my first time watching it in a 3D format, with all those red/blue glasses. it's very cool indeed. =)
the movie's really cute and hilarious. i love B.O.B! the blue color monster. haha. the most funny-est part was when he tried to talk to the green jelly and how he thought that Derek was a two-timing jerk. HAHAHA. bodoh nyer monster.

then, last thursday was a farewell celebration with JCO Donuts for Haiqel n Deen, before both of them sets off to be Singapore's own perwira. cheyyy. hehe.

in fact, maybe, we are still kental in some ways or another. and as for me, i am still kental. but, in my own ways lah. hehe. =)
so, this would be my secret to share with all of you. hehe.

my most kental-gemilang days was during secondary school.
fashion wise, jangan cakap ah. huahuahuahuahua.
music wise, the best of all! haha.
it's none other than those jiwang retak songs. HAHA!

there's a lot of malay boy bands during that era. (chey, bebual macam dah tinggal kat dunia ni seribu tahun gitu. haha.)
spin the bottle lah, spoon and fork lah, boboy and gegerl lah, and lots more.
but my one and only favourite band would be, NEW BOYZ.
part ni, korang nak ketawer sampai golek-golek kat luar rumah pun boleh. aku bagi ampai satu jam ah. tak lebih, tak kurang kan. haha.

my final purchase. part ni, aku dah grow up. haha!

i am a very big fan of theirs. especially the lead singer, Tomok. yeap, the one with the center parting hair. HAHA!
i bought their records.
i go to each and every of their concert. the tickets are cheap, or sometimes, FOC. haha.
and my school textbooks was not full of written notes. but it's FULL of the word NEW BOYZ and Tomok.
yeahs. that, i did not lie. you can ask my best friend regarding it. even my school desk was vandalised with that name. hohoho.
not forgetting my comfort zone. it was also full of NEW BOYZ posters and some other bands too.
call that semangat yang berkobah-kobes.

and there was this time, i got a chance to meet them upfront.
running, screaming here and there just to get their signature and a handshake.
but unfortunately, i didnt get to shake hands with Tomok. i only managed to get the other four members' signature.
sedih tak terkater. haha. but thinking on the bright side, four is definitely better than one. =)
if only i could turn back the time, i would just kill myself for doing that. astarghfirullah. haha.

so as the days goes by, i became older. and wiser (haha!).
my feelings towards NEW BOYZ faded.
and so does the band. haha. they fell apart.
they recruited 2 new members yang tak handsome langsung. HAHA!
so, how to minat them like that? hahahahahaahahahahahahha!

and now, i am not sure how they're doing in the music industry.
i remembered that i once read in a malay magazine, that Tomok is getting married soon. im not sure whether it's true or not lah. haha.
but if i were to still adore him like before, hmm, tak tau lah aper nak jadi. HAHAHAHA!

and ow! abg yazid did mentioned to me that Tomok is in the One in a Million competition. so, i checked it out on youtube.
his hair is no longer parted at the center position. his clothes are no more baggy and mat kotai-ish.
he is so different. very different. haha.
and he didnt call himself Tomok anymore. he's Indrawan now.

biler dier kental, aku pun kental suker die. haha!

really, the movie scares the shit out of me.
and it has been days since ive not slept at my room. hehe.

i'm just a little too not over you

school holidays gonna start soon for the secondary and primary school students. and as for ITE students, they're having a one month break before the new school term starts. jealous okie, see my cousin lepak at home.
can do so much things. dvd marathon, msn-ing till 5am, eat, sleep, eat, sleep, eat, sleep. haha!
coz basically, that's what i did during my holidays when im still in school lah. haha!

but as for now, since im no more the schooling girl, i can just pelan-pelan kayuh at work dreaming to have school holidays too. tsk.
can just dream on, to have that carefree life i have way back in school. =(
what i missed most are my 2 years in ITE and my very last year in secondary school.
i dunch really like my secondary school. but am lucky that i met my best friends there. the only great thing that happen during those secondary days were them. other than that, i dunch even wish to recall. haha!

but ITE was the best lah. never mind of having to travel each and every of the day to bishan, since i love long journeys in the bus. heh.
but then again, 2 years was really fast. so little time to bully my gong-gong teacher, hang around at the amphitheatre, have fun during s&w lesson, eat those nice food at the canteen. hmph.

and this is my most gong-gong teacher. aku tak tau macam ner die leh jadi teacher. kadang-kadang aku raser aku lagi pandai dari dier. pasal dier tak tau macam ner nak spell "bicycle". raser-raser kan, dier buat-buat bodoh ke memang dah bodoh ehks? hahaha!

and believe it or not, i miss studying. memorising notes. doing past year papers. haha!
it's been years since i write notes, compos and all that scribbles. and coz of that, i forgot how to write properly. haha! i think those kindergaten kids have nicer hand-writing than mine right now. haha! buat malu, you know. heeheehee.

to wrap it all up, i really miss school.
coz i just hate work. hate hate work.

and dear Allah, please keep me strong. and keep us together.

and so, kak lenny's wedding was sweet. coz both the bride and groom like pinang dibelah dua. both ader gigi yang iffah suker. geram. grrr.

after which, was photo-taking sessions with the rest at various places in singapore. haha!
suntec city, the court, victoria theatre, boat quay.
had so much fun, even if we were clad in our traditional clothes. haha!
mcm perempuan melayu terakhir gitu. haha!

Cik Fadly is my father's cousin, and so, he is still my uncle. but not really my uncle. haha! what am i blabbering about ni? aper sajer lah iffah ni. and fifah, your nenek sedare really cooks a very, very nice meal lor! begedil die sedap giler lah oi! hahaha!
and ow! look out for the very muder tok kadi! Jehan Miskin look alike!

and here comes the pichurs of nenek joyah's angels wearing tudung. haha! abit wrong lah. coz the baju abit transparent. hehehe.

cik fadly's akad nikah was perfect. i like it alot, till i told mama that i want mine to be like his. simple yet it looks awesomely nice. =)

iffah: mama. iffah nak kat masjid jugak.
mama: boleh. lagi bagus.
iffah: aah sey. okie, set ah ma. nak kat masjid jugak.
mama: yelah, dah ader calon belom?
iffah: hehehehe.

the tok kadi makes the makcik giggle-giggle, coz he's so handsome like that. tok kadi muder hokay.
and the reception at the mosque was nice too. had to eat from one big plate, shared among all the aunties. and since the plate was crowded with lots of hands, mama just suapkan anak kesayangan dier ni. heh.

mama: cepat makan. ni dari masjid tau. insyallah, dapat jodoh kat masjid.
aunty 1: aah. maner tau. kalau dapat, kan bagus.
aunty 2: tu lah, sekali macam tok kadi tu ke. hehe.
iffah: okie, okie. cepat ma, cepat. *ngap*

ade purpose hokay. this time round, we collected our traditional outfits. happy with the results. yeay!
missed having breakfast at the usual place. daymn. i'll miss my roti canai. boohoohoo.

next stop was over at Pandan City. got lotsa cheap stuff. lotsa food too!
keropok lekor, char kway, apam balik pulau pinang, and banyak lagi lah!
we even had a karaoke session too!! 1RM per song. cheap or what?! i even got the chance to sing my old time favourite song by my favourite boyband time zaman-zaman kental nak mampos! who else other than, NEW BOYZ!!! hahahahahahahahahah!!
i am really a big fan of them hokay. but, it's eons ago! HAHAHAH.
ketawer lah korang. ketawer. aku tau kelakar.

then, dinner was at Sedap Corner. and dayah's dish was contaminated with little snaily-s. ewww. not once but twice! the first dish was changed when we found the little snaily on one of the vege-s. thought it was clean by then. but hell no! the second snaily was found only after dayah had finish her dish. hahaha!
but the bad thing was about the restaurant's service. they definitely do not know how to handle the matter professionally. aiyooyooyoo.

what's been happening around at work lately, just got me feeling a little bit stressed here and there. miss migrainy have been visiting me quite alot of times lately. especially in the morning. what more with those non-stop hit of naggings. i am not sure how much longer i can bear with all these little things at work.
but i cant tender right now. with the market being slow nak mampos, aku tak nak jual anggur babe. as for now, patience is a virtue. =)

Karangan budak darjah 4

Pagi itu pagi minggu. Cuaca cukup sejuk sehingga mencapai takat suhu beku. Sebab itu saya tidak mandi pagi sebab air kolah jadi air batu dan air paip tidak mahu keluar sebab beku di dalam batang paip.

Pagi itu saya bersarapan dengan keluarga di dalam unggun api kerana tidak tahan sejuk. Selepas itu emak saya mengajak saya menemaninya ke pasar. Tetapi saya tidak mahu. Selepas emak menikam perut saya berkali-kali dengan garfu barulah saya bersetuju untuk mengikutnya.

Kami berjalan sejauh 120 kilometer kerana pasar itu letaknya 128 kilometer dari rumah. Lagi 8 kilometer nak sampai pasar saya ternampak sebuah lori kontena meluru dengan laju dari arah belakang. Dia melanggar emak saya. Emak saya tercampak ke dalam gaung. Dia menjerit "Adoi!". Lepas itu emak saya naik semula dan mengejar lori tersebut. Saya pun turut berlari di belakang emak saya kerana takut emak saya melanggar lori itu pula. Pemandu lori itu nampak kami mengejarnya. Dia pun memecut lebih laju iaitu sama dengan kelajuan cahaya. Kami pula terpaksa mengejar dengan lebih laju iaitu sama dengan dua kali ganda kelajuan cahaya.

Emak saya dapat menerajang tayar depan lori itu. Lori itu terbabas dan melanggar pembahagi jalan lalu bertembung dengan sebuah feri. Feri itu terbelah dua. Penumpang feri itu yang seramai 100 orang semuanya mati. Pemandu feri itu sangat marah. Dia pun bertukar menjadi Ultraman dan memfire pemandu lori. Pemandu lori menekan butang khas di dalam lori dia..lori itu bertukar menjadi robot Transformer. Mereka bergaduh di udara.

Emak saya tidak puas hati. Dia pun terus menyewa sebuah helikopter di Genting Highlands dan terus ke tempat kemalangan. Dia melanggar pemandu feri yang telah bertukar menjadi Ultraman itu. Pemandu feri itu terkejut dan terus bertukar menjadi pemandu feri semula lalu terhempas ke jalanraya. Pemandu feri itu pecah.

Pemandu lori sangat takut melihat kejadian itu. Dia meminta maaf dari emak saya. Dia menghulurkan tangan ingin bersalam. Tetapi emak saya masih marah. Dia menyendengkan helikopternya dan mengerat tangan pemandu lori itu dengan kipas helikopter. Pemandu lori itu menjerit "Adoi..!" dan jatuh ke bumi.

Emak say menghantar helikopter itu ke Genting Highlands. Bila dia balik ke tempat kejadian, dia terus memukul pemandu lori itu dengan beg tangannya sambil memarahi pemandu lori itu di dalam bahasa Inggeris. Pemandu lori itu tidak dapat menjawab sebab emak saya cakap orang putih. Lalu pemandu lori itu mati.

Tidak lama kemudian kereta polis pun sampai. Dia membuat lapuran ke ibu pejabatnya tentang kemalangan ngeri itu. Semua anggota polis di pejabat polis itu terperanjat lalu mati. Orang ramai mengerumuni tempat kejadian kerana ingin mengetahui apa yang telah terjadi. Polis yang bertugas cuba menyuraikan orang ramai lalu dia menjerit menggunakan pembesar suara. Orang ramai terperanjat dan semuanya mati.

Selepas itu emak saya mengajak saya ke pasar untuk mengelak lebih ramai lagi yang akan mati. Di pasar, emak saya menceritakan kejadian itu kepada penjual daging. Penjual daging dan peniaga-peniaga berhampiran yang mendengar cerita itu semuanya terkejut dan mati.

Saya dan emak saya terus berlari balik ke rumah. Kerana terlalu penat sebaik saja sampai di rumah kami pun mati. Itulah kemalangan yang paling ngeri yang pernah saya lihat sebelum saya mati.

tak tau pulak orang dah mati boleh write karangan. macam siak. hahaha!

i dunch know why we girls, tend to get cranky when miss mensy arrives.
be it before her arrival or during her presence. shucks.

so this, was when i tried the maggi goreng at the Teh Tarik Coffeeshop over at tampines. i think it's a day before NADI itself. or maybe a few days before NADI. i cant remember that much now. old lady lah. gigi pun dah patah. hahahaha!
and this was when ive started to ask for more maggi goreng every now and then. heeee. and speaking about it now, makes me want to go over to tampines right now and get a packet of maggi goreng. hehe. nak maggi gorenggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg.

and this was the day. haha.
